Our unpaid volunteer board is a group of senior corporate executives and entrepreneurs, passionate about supporting the members of our community who struggle with anxiety and depression. We’ve all been exposed to this problem either through family and friends or in the working environment and are strongly determined to find the solution.

We bring a diverse and complementary set of skills and a wealth of operational and governance experience to ensure that Bluebird members receive quality support.

Allan Campbell
Executive Chairman
MEng, CEng

Allan is an experienced business executive in both private and NFP sectors with a strong background in business transformation and growth strategy development. Allan has provided strategic consulting services to a number of high profile international organizations to develop their strategic planning and risk management structures to drive positive growth and stakeholder engagement. Prior to that, Allan held senior executive positions at variety of top tier corporations such as Downer in Australia and Rolls-Royce PLC and Ford Motors in UK. Allan is passionate about giving back to the community and is a great believer in educating our community about the mental health awareness and support. Allan has joined Bluebird in 2015 as a Chairman and has been instrumental to establishment of the government support and successful fundraising.

Anna Sloboda

Anna is a mining entrepreneur and passionate philanthropist. She has founded a number of mining ventures, most recent of which, Red Citadel Resources Pty Ltd, is focusing on the development of marine mineral deposits. Anna’s primary area of expertise is fundraising, investor and stakeholder relations and strategic planning. Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavours, Anna held senior management positions in a number of first tier corporations such as Deloitte, Merck KGaA, Lehman Brothers in Europe and at Clough Ltd and Curtin University in Australia. Anna is currently serving on the community Fundraising committee of WA Museum and is a member of Advisory Committee of Maritime Archaeology of WA Maritime Museum.

Mark Caldwell

Mark is a senior finance professional, who brings to the Board a wealth of knowledge of corporate governance and all financial management functions, including treasury, audit and risk management. In his current capacity of General Manager Finance and Business Services of GESB, a WA Government Statutory Authority, Mark is accountable for ensuring good financial management, governance and compliance is in place to support the $30 Billion of superannuation and retirement savings of current and former WA public sector employees. Mark has recently been appointed as an external member of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Public Sector Commission (WA). Mark is the former Treasurer at the Hamersley Rovers Junior Football Club, a role he filled for over 6 years. Mark is a passionate golfer and ultra-marathon runner, devoting his sports activities to a variety of charitable causes.

Brigette Sheen
BBus, BA, DipPracMgt, DipPubPR

Brigette is a senior strategist who helps articulate, develop and guide organisations in achieving their sustainable growth and governance objectives. She understands how to bring together expertise within an organisation to best articulate its value proposition and transfer this to action in the field. Her experience in a range of industries and geographies, including building her own businesses, brings to the Board a unique perspective. Brigette is passionate about advancing Bluebird’s capabilities to expand our support groups to more people living with anxiety and depression, with her skills in corporate marketing and grant/bid development providing an invaluable contribution to the sustainability of the organisation.

Jason Morris
LLB, BA (Art and Anthropology), MAICD

Jason is a highly experienced lawyer helping clients develop and implement efficient and effective commercial solutions and to mitigate risk.  Jason’s industry experience spans government, superannuation, energy and resources, insurance, construction, and marine.  Jason brings to the Board his vast legal experience in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, insurance re-design and claims, regulatory disclosure, and an in-depth knowledge of risk management and corporate governance.  Reporting to directors and leaders of organisations, Jason has assisted his clients to navigate regulatory landscapes and their exchanges with regulators.  Jason has provided volunteer legal services to organisations attempting to abolish draconian laws that violate human rights in and around Asia-Pacific.  He also assisted Australian veterans at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs by educating members about their entitlement to compensation.  Jason is passionate about reconciliation in Australia and being an advocate for the disadvantaged.
