Our unpaid volunteer board is a group of senior corporate executives and entrepreneurs, passionate about supporting the members of our community who struggle with anxiety and depression. We’ve all been exposed to this problem either through family and friends or in the working environment and are strongly determined to find the solution.

We bring a diverse and complementary set of skills and a wealth of operational and governance experience to ensure that Bluebird members receive quality support.

Allan Campbell
Executive Chairman
MEng, CEng

Allan is an experienced business executive in both private and NFP sectors with a strong background in business transformation and growth strategy development. Allan has provided strategic consulting services to a number of high profile international organizations to develop their strategic planning and risk management structures to drive positive growth and stakeholder engagement. Prior to that, Allan held senior executive positions at variety of top tier corporations such as Downer in Australia and Rolls-Royce PLC and Ford Motors in UK. Allan is passionate about giving back to the community and is a great believer in educating our community about the mental health awareness and support. Allan has joined Bluebird in 2015 as a Chairman and has been instrumental to establishment of the government support and successful fundraising.

Anna Sloboda

Anna is a mining entrepreneur and passionate philanthropist. She has founded a number of mining ventures, most recent of which, Red Citadel Resources Pty Ltd, is focusing on the development of marine mineral deposits. Anna’s primary area of expertise is fundraising, investor and stakeholder relations and strategic planning. Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavours, Anna held senior management positions in a number of first tier corporations such as Trans-Tasman Resources Ltd, Clough Ltd and Curtin University in Australia, Deloitte, Merck KGaA, Lehman Brothers in Europe. Anna is currently serving on the community Fundraising committee of WA Museum and is a member of Advisory Committee of Maritime Archaeology of WA Maritime Museum.

Paul Berend

Paul is an senior corporate leader with a successful track record in advisory and turnarounds of natural resource projects. Paul currently holds a position of a Regional Director at Hatch, one of the world’s largest engineering companies.  Paul brings to the Bluebird Board his in-depth understanding of corporate strategy, governance, vast professional networks and passion for helping those who suffer from mental health issues.  Paul has previously held a number of senior positions in blue chip organizations, including senior advisory roles at McKinsey & Co, PWC and PiP, and as well as senior executive roles at Rio Tinto Iron Ore and ArcelorMittal. Paul combined his corporate career with the successful entrepreneurial endeavours – he was a CEO and Founder of Trans-Tasman Resources Ltd and currently is an Executive Chairman of Red Citadel Resources Pty Ltd.

Zoe McKay

Zoe is a highly experienced marketing executive, currently managing JAZ Creative, a boutique design and marketing company, combining her entrepreneurial talents with creativity and operational focus. Prior to JAZ, Zoe delivered PR and marketing strategies to the local government and education sector in WA. Zoe has a wealth of knowledge in strategic marketing, branding, social media, events, project management, community engagement, sponsorship and copywriting. Driven to create successful marketing strategies for clients, Zoe is apt in liaising with professionals at all levels. This, coupled with exceptional organisational and management skills makes her a real asset to the Bluebird team.
