Bluebird was founded to fill the gap in existing mental health services and believes that with the right support, treatment, advice and actions, recovery from a mental illness is possible.

- In 2015 we supported 390 people from 60 postcodes around Perth through 27 psychologist led support groups delivered at our Perth CBD and Fremantle locations.
- In 2015 we received 166 new enquiries, almost 1 enquiry every other day.
- In 2014 we raised awareness of adult mental health at the Music to Open Your Mind community mental health event in Fremantle
- During Mental Health week in 2015 we held our first event encouraging the public to ‘Join In’ with activities including meditation, No lights No Lycra dancing and mindful colouring in.
- In 2013 we won the Connect Groups “Good Practice Award” for effective governance and facilitation practices at the Connect Groups “Recognising good practice” Gala night.
